Grape fairies have always liked humans. Of course it may have something to do with them traditionally being treated as minor goddesses or nymphs and given pretties and sweets in exchange for suggestions on how to make them grow better. A belief many seem to actively encourate as humans can be so  useful doing all the boring farming tasks.
