Constance Readmore thought she had seen every trend over her career at the library. Generation after generation of students had wandered the stacks of books, learning from the first hand accounts of their predecessors. But she had her doubts about this group. Ears clogged by their "MP3's" and paying more attention to their friend's incessant "squeaks" than their professors lecture. Falling time and again for popular rumor and consensus rather than take the time to actually read and discover for themselves. Where it not for girls like Paige, she would wash her hands of the lot of them.

The poor dear must really be ill, calling in and saying she was feeling a little hoarse. A "healthy" young filly like her, she was probably had just a little too enthusiastic weekend with her boyfriend, Connie thought with a knowing smile. Tisking as she spotted a large negligently abandoned tome off the floor, she thought that she too had been quite the sex kitten back in her day, before a bright flash....

Recovering and giving her had a quick shake, Connie heard a rowdy group of students a few rows down. Nothing a quick powerful "shush" couldn't fix, the students rapidly dashing off from her warning. With peace at last, she picked up her lost chain of though.... not enough reading time. "Well no time like the present to fix that," she thought. Impulsively pushing her desk into a nice sunny spot took but a moment, and that big book of conundrums looked especially inviting
